As simple as it looks?
Although the finished painting has a simplified appearance, the ‘pop-art’ style is in fact very complex. As you can see, each picture starts in draft form as a rough sketch in paint before being steadily refined. Each line has to be in the correct place in order to achieve the sense of speed and perspective while retaining a ‘clean’ appearance
